To Set Up a Report Row as a Hyperlink

  1. Open the report in Report Designer and select the Format Layout tab.
  2. Clear the Visible column check box for Id.
    Note: To provide the user the ability to double-click on a row in the report results and jump to the object's content pane, the eQL element id needs to be included in the SELECT clause on the Define Search tab.
  3. Under Properties for the Report, set Default Id Column to Id, and then set Object Type equal to the START WITH clause (e.g. Document in the example below).
  4. Save and run the report.
  5. Double-click a column row in the report results. The document opens in the Content pane.
